CHINESE CONSUMERS DEMAND RESPONSE FROM APPLE TO IPHONE SHUTDOWNS

The China Consumers Association (CCA) has made an official query about iPhone shutdowns, asking Apple to give a response within 10 days. The response should address the reason why many iPhones are automatically shutting off, as well as offer a solution to the problem.

A considerable number of iPhone users have reported the sudden and unprompted shutdown of their devices. One iPhone 6 user stated that his iPhone automatically shut off despite its 40-percent battery charge at the time. Apple customer service representatives have pointed to cold temperatures and use of the phone while charging as possible causes of the issue. However, Chinese consumers are not satisfied with these explanations.

After receiving a high number of complaints, the China Consumers Association (CCA) has asked Apple to investigate the problem and its probable cause. In addition, Apple has been asked to provide a solution to the problem.
